Skimz Media 04™ is a German-made Phosphate Adsorption Media (PAM) developed for the effective removal of phosphate (PO4), the main cause of algae problems. In all marine systems, phosphate may be introduced into the aquarium through food, fish waste, top-up water or from aquarium salt itself. The first key to nuisance algae control is to limit and reduce the measurable phosphate levels.

Media 04™ has an extra longlife, lasting up to 5 times longer than other conventional PAM due to it high adsorption capacity.
