Skimz Media 02™ is a specially processed granular activated carbon. The manufacturing process uses a patented high pressure steam activation to produce a premium grade carbon with efficient pore structure, providing a large surface area for maximal adsorption. It has very low ash content, phosphate free, and will not affect the pH of the water.
