I am writing to commend the dedication and fine work of Mdm Tan Kok Choo, the instructor who has been working with my daughter, Lim Li, for the past 8 years. She is an excellent teacher and had then inspired Lim Li to develop great interest in Chinese Drama Acting and gain confidence. Lim Li had built a strong foundation in Chinese Drama Acting due to Mdm Tan’s efforts.

Mdm Tan started teaching Lim Li on Chinese Drama Acting Course as well as dancing during K1 at PAP Kindergarden School and continued with her through Geylang Methodist School (Primary).

Mdm Tan has a strong knowledge of Chinese and she is totally committed to providing various areas of nurturing Lim Li in speech, drama and dancing.

Lim Li had then given many opportunities in school and national competition and had achieved many awards.

I greatly appreciate all the hard work, the dedication, and the friendship Mdm Kok had given to Lim Li and me over the past eight years. Currently, my two sons are under the Mdm Tan’s class on improving speech on Mandarin and had then gain great confidence too.

Mdm Tan do you still remember my daughter Lee Si Qi? She is now 27 years old and has graduated from university.

Two decades ago, when she was only 7 years old, she manage to grasp the basic of education and learning under your inspired guidance. Being under your whole-hearted and sincere care and grooming for 10 years, not only did she picked up multiple skills she also gained a deeply-rooted moral compass.

Mdm Meng

Mdm Tan is my son's twelfth chinese teacher.

The first eleven taught for only a day before quitting whilst Mdm Tan taught for 10 years, until he graduated from secondary 4. During the PSLE examinations he scored an A* for normal chinese and an distinction for higher chinese.

For a boy who could not understand a single chinese word during his first lesson, it is quite a feat that was accomplished with the help of Mdm Tan. He also did well for his O level chinese examination and is now ready to pursue chinese at a higher level.
